Cowboy Boot
The Cowboy boot is style of riding boot traditionally worn by cowboys, with heel, pointed toe and ornamental stitching. The pointed-toe helps the foot find its way into the stirrup, while the rider mounts a horse. The heel helps keep the riders foot in position in the stirrup while riding. Today the cowboy boot is more often worn as a fashion item.
